Nursing

Our undergraduate nursing courses are registered by the Nursing and Midwifery Council so that, upon your successful graduation, you’ll be ready to start work in a modern nursing team.

Sport

We’ve strong links to a number of national governing bodies in sport such as the Scottish FA and Scottish Swimming, many of whom are based on campus. Our academic staff actively seek links with key sports organisations to ensure our teaching reflects contemporary issues affecting the sports industry today.

Our graduates have gone on to jobs in the sport and leisure sector, development, sports science, support of athletes, health and fitness monitoring, physical activity promotion and coaching. Our graduates have also entered teaching and other disciplines such as physiotherapy and commissioned officers in the armed forces.

Employers who have benefitted from Stirling graduate expertise include local authorities, commercial and voluntary sport organisations and governing bodies of sport.

Our approach is why 96% of our graduates were in employment or further study 15 months after graduation (Graduate Outcomes 2020-21, HESA).

We work with clinical experts, patients, health and sport organisations to ensure that our postgraduate degrees are high-quality and relevant. Find out more about our business connections and partners.
