Your first few weeks at Stirling will be busy. It can be fun but also challenging and it's important to make sure you are aware of the services and opportunities that we offer to help you get the best out of University life.
The Faculty of Health Sciences and Sport arranges welcome meetings so that you can meet the staff, other students and learn a little about how things work at Stirling.
Your personal tutor
You'll be assigned a personal tutor early in your first semester who will contact you via email. You are encouraged to arrange to meet with them.
The role of a personal tutor is to help you feel part of the University community and to act as a specific and consistent source of guidance, information and support throughout your studies. Your tutor should always be available as a formal point of contact for general academic guidance or pastoral support.
