Introductory Meeting: Information session for all students starting on BA Hons International Management with European Languages and Society course, whether with French or Spanish (or both). The session is led by the Course Director, covering information about the degree course, as well as key opportunities such as Study Abroad.

Please note that most individual subject areas will organise Introductory Meetings but these will tend to only relate to the specific subject in question. The aim of this information session is to give students a chance to meet together as a group and to ask questions about their overall degree course. Subject to availability, students entering their final year on this course will also attend the meeting to answer new students’ questions.

Mon 9 Sep To be confirmed
Bridging Materials: All students who register for FREU9A1 will have access online (via Canvas) to a 4-week programme of Bridging Materials in the lead-up to the start of semester. These materials aim to help students with the transition from secondary school study of Languages to the University language learning environment. They are structured around the different elements of our Semester 1 French Advanced module (FREU9A1), as well as offering more generic Study Skills advice for Languages students and other information about studying French. From mid-August
