Tyler Chamilliard

Congratulations to Tyler Chamilliard, who will begin a PhD in History at York University in Toronto in Autumn 2011. Tyler has just completed the MRes in Environmental History working with Dr. Paul Adderley and Professor Richard Oram on his dissertation, “New Understandings of Abandoned Medieval Buroughs: Examining Spacial Patterns in the Urban Industrial Settlement of Roxburgh by Geochemical Prospecting”. Tyler also has an MA and BA (Honours) from the University of Waterloo. 

York’s five-year doctoral program includes course work, comprehensive examinations, and a dissertation. Tyler will work with Professor Emeritus Richard Hoffmann on a comparative study of environmental policy in medieval Britain and France.
