MRes in Environmental History
Since finishing my Master of Research in Environmental History I have been successful in obtaining a job in HR with a large clinical research company. I am responsible for the HR support for Eastern Europe and the Middle East, and every day is different and interesting. The research bug has stuck with me, however, and I applied to the University of Stirling with a part-time PhD proposal that was accepted.
I am now also continuing my research in Iceland where I will be looking into the relationship between fishing and farming communities in the south of the island.
My friends think I am mad working full-time and studying every spare minute but I wouldn't have it any other way.
