As part of Stirling University’s Focus on Scotland festival of factual television on October 21, we are once again hosting the UK wide short film competition, Focus on Factual.
The competition is open to undergraduate film makers who made factual content during academic year 2018-19. If you were enrolled as an undergraduate student at a UK university or college in the past year, you are eligible to take part.

There are only two categories: ultra-short (5 minutes or less) and short (between 5 and 15 minutes). The winners, chosen by a panel of industry experts, will be announced in October 2019 at Focus on Scotland, with cash prizes of £500 for winners and £250 for runners up in each category, thanks to our friends at CVP and Jigsaw 24.

Deadline for entries is Friday September 20. Entry is FREE and academics may submit on students’ behalf.
