Being on the Pro licence allowed me to touch on the business side of management. I was never interested in that when I was in the job – I never really looked at the big picture. I was too busy trying to concentrate on the football. The Pro licence has been superb in terms of making me look at things more in-depth. I think if I do get back in I will be so much better prepared on that side of things
Alex Rae, former Manager Dundee.
The workshop at Stirling was a really interesting aspect to the UEFA Pro Licence and really got me thinking outside the box away from the usual football talk. It was important to start talking about the boardroom aspect and get experience of those matters. ... The course at the University of Stirling was a great addition to the qualification and really worthwhile
