Continuing Professional Development in health sciences

We offer a variety of short courses, modules and programmes for the continuing professional development (CPD) of qualified nurses, midwives and allied health professionals.

Our CPD in nursing is designed to improve your clinical practice for the benefit of your patients and services. We use a blend of teaching methods, including opportunities for distance learning and online study.

Return to Practice nursing

The Return to Practice Nursing Programme, funded by NHS Education for Scotland, helps those who wish to re-join the Nursing and Midwifery Council register as a practicing adult or mental health nurse.
