Programme Development Resource Hub

These resources have been developed following the approval of a new approach to programme approval in Spring 2017. These resources have been informed and developed through consultation and engagement with a range of individuals and teams from across the University as well as benchmarking across the sector. They will be regularly reviewed and updated to ensure you are supported in the development and management of your programmes and modules.

If you have any questions please contact the Academic Quality and Governance Team and we will be happy to help.

There are three sections to the Hub:

Policy and Process - you can view the policy and process information by going to the Quality Handbook. This outlines the Policy that underpins the approval process and outlines the process by which programmes and modules are approved, amended and withdrawn. We recommend that you read the relevant sections before beginning to propose the change you have planned.

Co-Producers - there are a range of individuals and teams who will work with you to develop your proposal and in this section, you will find brief introductions to the work that they do in relation to programmes and modules and some key questions that you can use to help you prepare your proposal for submission. Contact details are also provided in case you have further questions.

Forms - this section provides you with links to the forms used to submit proposals for modules and programmes and information about what to include in the forms, and how to complete them. Exemplars will be provided.
