Roy Wood

In 1967, Roy Wood co-founded the Edinburgh Printmakers Workshop. During the years 1968-1976 he gave lectures and demonstrations for the Scottish Arts Council. In 1983he was awarded a DAAAD scholarship for travel and work in Germany, ten years later he was given sabbatical leave to travel and work in Germany and Italy. In 1995 he worked on the invited artists programme in the Art Department of the University of Florida, and was a delegate at the Southern Graphics Print Conference in Tampa. He has more recently visited and been inspired by Japan and China. This print was purchased from the Printmakers workshop in 1972.
