It is not only our stunning campus location in the centre of Scotland that draws students and their families to the University (our 300 acre campus is spread around a beautiful loch with Edinburgh, Glasgow and the Highlands all on your doorstep – Stirling really is Scotland's heart!). We also offer an ultra-flexible degree system with over 200 different combinations and the option to transfer degree and graduate in an entirely different subject, something approximately half of our students take advantage of.
But don't just take our word for it. We encourage prospective students and their families to visit our beautiful campus, learn more about the University and see our first-rate student facilities for themselves. More information on the range of visiting opportunities available on campus throughout the year can be found below.
Open days are held for anyone interested in studying at the University of Stirling and their supporters (i.e. parents, teachers, careers advisers).
Applicant days are open to those who have applied for undergraduate study at the University. Applicants are automatically invited to one of these events when we receive their UCAS application.
Our visit afternoons run throughout the summer and are a fantastic opportunity for those thinking of applying, or whom have already applied, for undergraduate study.
If you are unable to attend any of our other visiting opportunities but still wish to see the campus, we offer student led tours by request for anyone interested in studying at the University at any level.
Can't get to the campus? Why not take a virtual tour: View our videos and virtual tours of the University of Stirling Campus.
If you would prefer to explore the campus unaccompanied, you are welcome to collect a campus map from Student Recruitment reception to guide you. We are located in Pathfoot Building, Room C3.
All the events are free of charge to attend. The University of Stirling wishes to be as accessible as possible and therefore we do not endorse any organisations that charge individuals for visiting the campus.
