The University of Stirling welcomes applications from all countries and will consider them on an individual basis.
Generally speaking, the qualifications which allow you to enter a Bachelor degree in your own country would be considered for entry here at Stirling, either directly or via our tailored International Study Centre foundation programmes including the International Foundation Year which leads to second year Bachelor degree entry and the International Diploma which leads to third year Bachelor degree entry.
As a guide, we look for a strong Bachelor Honours degree or equivalent for students applying from outside the UK. Alternatively our Pre-Master's programme may be an option for entry into Master's programmes.
For specific requirements please view our country-specific information for your own country. If your country is not listed and you require further information please complete our online enquiry form.
If English is not your first language, you’ll need to demonstrate a minimum level of English language proficiency.
The English Language Qualifications List provides details of tests approved by the University.
Prospective postgraduate students should also check the specific levels required for their chosen programme by checking the postgraduate programme listingsas appropriate.
There are a number of options available to you, ranging from a course for those who need only a little help, up to a long-term programme.
