Stirling University is extremely inclusive and made me feel welcome as soon as I had applied. A definite benefit of studying at the University of Stirling is the campus, it is extremely beautiful and has everything you could need in one space. Another one is the staff; they are incredibly helpful and down to earth. The postgraduate experience has been outstanding due to the level of guidance provided by my lecturers. What I like about my course is that it incorporates planetary science into a remote sensing degree. I have also gained experience in coding and data science.

Stirling is a great place to spend such an important time in your life. You wouldn’t regret coming here and will gain so many great experiences. Coming to Stirling has let me do things that I never would have imagined. As an undergraduate student here, I studied in Alaska at the University of Fairbanks for a semester, spent a week working on a glacier in South Iceland and travelled to Nepal for my dissertation!

I never thought when I first started my university career that I would stay for a Masters, however, I am so glad that I have. It is challenging, fun and has helped me to meet some amazing people. I would recommend it to anyone that hasn’t considered it as an option.
