The School of Sport works closely with a number of sporting partners, based on campus. Research staff work with commercial and charitable partners, such as UK Sport, sportscotland and the World Anti Doping Agency (WADA).
The Sporting Chance Initiative helps Scottish businesses with less than 250 employees to develop new products and services for sports markets The only support organisation for sports innovation in Scotland, it provide up-to-date market information and access to world class expertise, research and facilities in Higher Education, as well as funding to assist with research projects.
We run a highly successful International Sports Scholarship Programme which has helped more than 700 athletes combine their study with their sport. Graduates include golfers Richie Ramsay and Catriona Matthew and Olympic swimmers Todd Cooper and Andrew Hunter. The Programme is backed by key sporting partners, helping us to deliver sporting success.
