The University of Stirling prides itself on its reputation for giving people, who traditionally would not have access to Higher Education, the chance to study towards a degree. For example, many adults believe that they do not have the necessary qualifications to gain entry to university. However, by completing an access programme over a period of a few months they can achieve the necessary credits to gain entrance to a degree course.
