About me

Background

I graduated in 2002 with a degree in Psychology from the University of Nebraska, Omaha, USA. I then completed a Masters degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Georgia, Athens, USA. After that I moved to Berlin, Germany to pursue a doctoral degree and obtained my PhD in Psychology in 2008 from the Humboldt University.

After being a research scientist for several years at the Center for Lifespan Psychology, Max Planck Institute for Human Development (MPIB), I was appointed as a lecturer here at Stirling since August 2015. I am a member of the Cognition in Complex Environments research area. I continue to be associated with the MPIB, particularly with the ConMem project.

Teaching

I am a final year coordinator for the undergraduate degree.
