Will Dinan is the programme director for the MSc in Strategic Public Relations (Double Degree with the University fo Lund) and is Learning & Teaching Officer for the Division of Communication Media & Culture.
Will has a BA (Hons) Sociology and Economics, University College, Cork, a Masters in Social Research Methods from the Department of Sociology at the University of Surrey, and was awarded his PhD from the University of Stirling for his thesis on lobbying, political communication and Scottish devolution. Before joining Stirling Will Dinan was a senior lecturer in Scoiology at UWS, and previously a lecturer in Scoiology at the University of Strathclyde.
Will has undertaken a number of consultancy projects for public and voluntary sector bodies, including the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), BBC Scotland, the Scottish Parliament, Oxfam, the Water Customer Consultation Panels, Scotland and the Scottish Trades Union Congress (STUC).Will is a co-founder and steering committee member (2005-) of the Alliance for Lobbying Transparency & Ethics Regulation in Europe (ALTER EU) and a member of the Committee for Transparency & Integrity, Finance Watch (2012-). He is a co-founder and director of Spinwatch.
