About me

I'm a Research Fellow at Machrihanish developing new products and methods primarily for the salmon aquaculture industry. I'm also a GLP Study Director covering all of our aquatic work on veterinary medicines and vaccines, feeds, chemicals, ecotoxicology, product support and genetics. My prior work has been in the field of developmental genetics using zebrafish embryos to study inherited brain and muscle diseases and develop models for drug identification.

  • Member of an Ad-Hoc Expert Group (AHEG) reporting to the CVMP on approval of veterinary medicines in Europe via the European Medicines Agency.
