In this role I have overseen support to substantial mariculture projects in Madeira, Turkey and Libya involving both offshore cages and recirculated hatcheries. I am involved in providing technical advice through risk assessments, insurance claim investigations and due diligence work.

I am currently Coordinator of Transnational Access to Aquaculture Research Infrastructures under the EC funded AQUAEXCEL2020 project, and am a participant in the EC H2020 projects: PrimeFish (modelling of seafood markets in Europe) and ClimeFish (Adaptation to climate change for seafood production).
