PRMP139: Advances in Perception and Action

This module examines how we can investigate perceptual processes, from simple actions like picking up a cup or crossing the road, to the highly demanding, complex behaviours seen in driving and professional sports, and the ways in which perception guides action.   Students will learn about the theories used and questions raised in the investigation of perception and action and develop skills in the use of experimental methodologies to examine these issues.
