Module Description

In this module we shall examine basic animal and plant cells and their anatomy and physiology. We shall discuss how various tissues and organs function in whole organisms.

  • Knowledge of the organisation of cells into tissues and organs
  • An understanding of the functions of tissues and organs in whole plants and animals
  • A basic understanding of homeostatic processes
