Dr Catriona Cunningham SFHEA >

I’m an Academic Development Partner, here at the University of Stirling. Previously I have been a consultant in academic practice at the Higher Education Academy where I specialised in internationalising the curriculum and learning and teaching in the arts and humanities. My research background is in francophone postcolonial literature and I have lectured at The University of Edinburgh, Queen’s University Belfast and the University of the West of Scotland. I’m currently researching in the area of internationalization and interculturalism in HE, particularly its impact on academic identities.

Dr Mary McCulloch FHEA >

I’m a Geographer and I’ve been an Academic Development Partner at the University of Stirling since September 2014. Prior to that I have worked as an Academic Developer for a number of years in the Universities of Glasgow, Edinburgh and Sydney as well as Glasgow School of Art. I have developed, taught on and led postgraduate certificates in learning and teaching in higher education as well as developing policy and strategy in assessment and in equality and diversity.

While at Stirling I have designed a new externally accredited (by the Higher Education Academy, HEA) postgraduate certificate in learning and teaching in higher education. I have also developed an externally accredited (HEA) continuing professional development framework (SFELTE), enhancing CPD provision in learning and teaching and providing routes to recognition for the academic practices of colleagues across the University. I am currently the lead for SFELTE.

My scholarly activities revolve around assessment, equality and diversity, GTA training and development and learning in fieldwork settings.
