NHS Accounts

NHS users of the Highland campus library can apply for a temporary computer account to allow you to use the PCs in the Library.   NHS users can also access the NHS Knowledge Network.  This page contains information on both.

Guest Computer Account

Users of the Highland campus library who are not staff or students of Stiring University can apply for your own computer account in the Library.

For security reasons we need to know that you are who you say you are. Therefore we need photographic identification uniquely identifying you. Acceptable identification includes:

• a current passport,
• a current photographic drivers licence,
• a student or staff ID card (where your card does not have a unique ID number we will need additional identification evidence such as a National Insurance Number from a current pay slip).

Please bring these along to the Library Issue Desk and your account will be set up for you.

NHS Knowledge Network

NHS employees and students/staff of Stirling University involved in Nursing courses, can access the NHS Knowledge network.  Access to the Knowledge Network is controlled by the NHS by way of Athens accounts which are issued to individuals.
