The Academic Advancement and Promotions Committee (AAPC) guidelines set out the principles that underpin a fair and transparent advancement and promotion process for all eligible academic staff. The process is designed to recognise and reward excellent performance that supports the delivery of University strategic objectives. This is measured by an individual’s ability to demonstrate excellence over a sustained period, and evidenced by the significance of their contribution and impact across the full range of academic duties and responsibilities.
