Postgraduate Research Skills Week

The School of Arts and Humanities will host its first school-wide Postgraduate training week from 2 - 6 December 2013.

All postgraduates are welcome to attend a week-long series of workshops and seminars. Sessions are being led by academic staff and cover the following areas:

  • generic research skills and approaches: Atlantic studies, discourse analysis, Academic Writing, social network analysis, feminism.
  • employability skills: research postgraduate funding, publishing research, presentation skills, teaching skills
  • subject skills in History, Languages, and Literature.
