2.40PM - 3.25PM
Venue: Pathfoot Courtyards
Edinburgh-based company LaNua presents enso, inspired by Zen art forms - gardens, calligraphy and poems (Haiku). Using paper, fabric and stones, the dancers weave poems, movement and images creating a serene and unforgettable show. First performed to great acclaim at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2010, enso explores how contrasting spaces affect the experience of the piece. Enso continues in Spring 2013 to explore performance in different locations, usually interacting with outdoor and indoor spaces.
Please note, the event takes place at the Pathfoot Building, University of Stirling campus. This event is free, but as space is restricted, all places must be booked in advance.
Tickets should be collected in advance from macrobert, University of Stirling, or from the Pathfoot Building on the day of the event from 2.15pm.
Enso is programmed as part of the University of Stirling's Japanese Week. Please see the website for details of other events.
RSVP: This is a free but ticketed event with a strictly limited capacity. To book tickets, call the macrobert Box Office on 01786 466666 or book online at www.macrobert.org
