The University of Stirling invites you to A Brief History of Black People in Britain, c.1750-1950 - an event staged at Stirling as part of the Coalition for Racial Equality and Rights Black History Month.

At the event, nine final year students from Dr Jacqueline Jenkinson's course on Black British History 1750-1950 will deliver short illustrated presentations and answer questions on Olaudah Equiano; slavery and abolition; Harriet Jacobs; Victorian racism; the 1900 Pan African conference and Black contributions to the two World Wars.

This event is free and is open to all staff, students and members of the public.  There is no need to register in advance.
