Burns' Supper and Ceilidh

Staff and students of the University of Stirling are invited to our annual Burns' Supper & Ceilidh.  Join us for an exciting night of festivities as the University and the Students' Union celebrate the life and work of Robert Burns - Scotland's national poet - with an evening of traditional food and drink, poetry and Scottish dancing.

The £11 ticket price includes:
Burns' supper of haggis/vegetarian haggis, neeps and tatties, Perthshire Mess (raspberries, meringue and cream), tea and coffee
Lively entertainment - Piper and Scottish Ceilidh band 
A c
elebration of Scottish traditions - Piping in the haggis, toast to the lassies and more

What is a Burns Supper?

Tickets: NOW SOLD OUT! This event is open to staff and students of the University of Stirling. Tickets cost £11 each and must be purchased in advance. This event is subsidised by the University's International Affairs Office.

Venue: Stirling Court Hotel, University of Stirling

Start time: The event will begin promptly at 7.30pm. Guests can begin to gather from 7pm when drinks will be available to purchase at the bar. All guests must be seated by 7.30pm.

Dress code:  Smart casual. Kilts and tartan are welcome and we recommend that you wear sensible shoes for dancing.

Dietary requirements:  If you have specific dietary requirements, please let us know when you book your ticket.  We will not be able to cater for your requirements on the night if you have not informed us in advance.

Refunds:  Any requests for refunds must be made at least 1 week prior to the event.
