What was the Scottish referendum about? Was it a decision on which option would make Scots better off and deliver the policies they wanted? Was it a game of strategy and a competition between two opponent camps? Was it a matter of national identity?
This exhibition, based on findings from the Television framing of the 2014 Scottish independence referendum research project, explores the different frames through which television coverage of the Scottish referendum addressed this question in the run-up to the vote.
The research and exhibition are supported by the ESRC Future Research Leaders scheme.
