Lesley Ferguson, Head of Collections at the Royal Commission on the Ancient & Historical Monuments of Scotland will be delivering a free public lecture discussing Britain from Above and the Aerofilms Collection.

The Aerofilms collection is a unique archive of aerial photographs dating from 1919-2006. Set up in the early years of aviation, Aerofilms' founders were pioneers of the air establishing the world's first commercial air photographic business. The Collection contains over 1 million images and presents an unparalleled picture of the changing face of Britain in the 20th Century.

The Art Collection is currently hosting the Britain from Above exhibition in the Pathfoot Building featuring key photographs from this collection including images from the Stirling area.
