Help desk

Responsibilities

The Help Desk team aims to provide a first point of contact for staff, students and visitors to notify Property Management of any maintenance/repair issues which require attention on the main Stirling campus. These will include

  • Building fabric – roofs, walls, floor, windows, doors, locks, request for additional keys
  • Electrical – lights, power, alarms
  • Heating and ventilation – radiators, air-conditioning, extractors
  • Maintenance and servicing of lifts
  • Gas and electrical supplies
  • Water – pipes, tanks, taps, drains, sewers,  Airthrey Loch
  • Pest control
  • Playing field, Sport & Golf course maintenance
  • Gardens and Grounds – roads, paths, steps, fences, grass, hedge cutting, trees
  • Snow clearing of roads, car parks and footpaths
  • Department requests e.g. provision and/or fitting of notice boards
  • Requests for minor refurbishment works e.g. painting of office space
  • Internal and External Signage (including fitting of door sign holders)
