Recharge my electric vehicle

There are 2 electric vehicle charging stations located within Cottrell Main Car Park and at the rear of the Pathfoot Building capable of recharging up to 4 vehicles simultaneously. Electricity is provided free-of-charge. However, users are still required to display a valid parking permit or Pay & Display ticket

Vehicle-specific  instructions are provided by each manufacturer regarding the recharging of individual electric vehicles. However generally, once the electricity supply lead has been connected between  the relevant terminals on the charging station (marked ‘A’ and ‘B’) and the vehicle to be charged,  it should then only be necessary to swipe your individual charge-card across the reader on the top of the charging station, to commence charging.

A maximum charging time of 4 hours applies following which time users are requested to move their vehicles to an alternative designated parking space.
