MSc International Business

As a student of International Business I had the opportunity to study on a course that was both insightful and challenging and allowed me to learn and study within a dynamic and culturally diverse environment. The programme provided invaluable insight into business and operations from a global perspective and allowed me the flexibility to study and focus on the areas of business I was particularly interested in, such as Human Resource Management and Marketing. I believe that the diverse cultural background of both the students and academic staff coupled with the materials and subjects covered by the program itself have provided me with an excellent platform on which to build a successful international career. During the second semester of the program, students had the opportunity to compete for the Al-Tajir Scholarship. This scholarship was awarded on the basis of academic merit and performance as well as a further assignment and presentation. The nature and subject matter of the assignment and presentation was extremely challenging and therefore extremely rewarding upon successful completion. It gave students an extra avenue to research and I was extremely grateful for the opportunity to compete for such a scholarship and feel very humbled and proud to have been the lucky recipient of it.

I can say with a great amount of confidence and honesty that my year spent studying International Business at the University of Stirling was by far the most enriching, challenging and enjoyable experience of my life to date. I have gained a network of good friends from all across the world as well as the knowledge and expertise required to succeed in the global business arena.
