Getting Involved

The Student Union is run for students by students, and all members can get involved in the running of the Union's activities. All students normally become members of the Union automatically when they register. However, under the terms of the Education Act 1994, you have the right not to be a member of the Union, or to be represented by it.  Under law, the University needs to let you know these facts so that you can 'opt out' if you wish. Please email theunion@stir.ac.uk to do so.

You can make use of this membership by supporting the Union in different ways. Whether that’s buying a latte or a Sports club membership, every penny you spend in your Union is reinvested back into Union services for you.

Get further involved by being a Course Representative, School Officer or run for one of the Union’s Sabbatical or Part Time Officer positions, you can make a difference, boost your CV and help enhance the student experience here at Stirling. Get more info at www.stirlingstudentsunion.com
