Eating and drinking on campus

With the academic year coming to a close, there will be revised opening hours for some of our catering outlets across campus.

While Pathfoot Eatery, Haldane’s and the Deli Bar will be closed until 10th September 2017, you’ll still be able to enjoy hot meals in Refresh, Market Street and Macrobert Café Bar.  A Deli Bar will be available in Stir Café as well as an additional hot option at Crush Hall Pod and all your usual favourites from The Bite.

Crush Hall Pod and The Bite

The Bite

Crush Hall Pod is a brand new service offering a convenient service point throughout the day, so that you are never coffee-less for those all important lectures! This new outlet compliments the existing popular coffee shop, The Bite, which is located in the Cottrell Building near Logie Lecture Theatre.

Stir Café

Recently revamped with extra seating, Stir Café aims to bring you fresh, high quality products whilst at the same time developing our strong environmental credentials, supplying Fairtrade and environmentally sustainable products:

  • A range of freshly prepared deli sandwiches along with a variety of pastries and cakes to compliment your coffee
  • A selection of ‘grab and go’ items
  • A daily blackboard with fantastic chef’s specials

Market Street

Market Street, in the heart of the Atrium, offers food throughout the day, from homemade porridge, breakfast rolls and bean-to-cup coffee to burgers and pizzas. It also provides a delicious range of shawarma wraps and pitas served between 11.30am to 2pm featuring delicious cooked chicken with fresh fillings.

Market Street is open daily from 8am to 7pm.

Sidewalk Deli

Our fabulous fresh deli offers:

  • Made to order sandwiches, subs and wraps, just the way you like it
  • Wide range of meat, fish and vegetarian fillings
  • Daily hot specials including meatball and chicken fajitas
  • Freshly-made soup of the day

The Café Bar at the Macrobert Arts Centre

Visitors to the MacRobert Café Bar enjoy an extensive range of food, including a selection of cakes, paninis, salads and an array of hot and cold drinks.
