The new accommodation will help maintain Stirling’s enviable position as a place where student satisfaction with the all round campus experience is high. It will enable Stirling to compete with universities and colleges around the world in providing high quality accommodation which meets the expectations of today’s students.
The new accommodation will provide students with well designed study bedrooms, spacious kitchens with dining facilities/social space, increased social space and better connections to the landscape areas around the accommodation. All the new accommodation will have either en-suite facilities or, in the case of townhouses, facilities shared by just a few students. There will be more accessible accommodation.
Over three years, just under 800 bedspaces will be replaced, which represents around 40% of the total accommodation on campus.
