The University is in the third phase of a multi-million pound project to develop high quality residential accommodation for students. This is the largest capital development undertaken by the University since the creation of the campus in the 1960s.
The demolition of some older residences and their replacement with attractive, and contemporary new accommodation has been taking place over the last three years.
The project involves three phases with new accommodation becoming available to incoming students at the beginning of the 2013/14, 2014/15 and 2015/16 academic years. As far as possible, overall capacity will be maintained throughout.
