Each academic year the CDC puts together a programme of presentations by employers/previous graduates of the University. Presentations are an excellent way of introducing students to a specific career area and to make them aware of career opportunities available.
Presentations take place mainly, although not exclusively, in the autumn semester. The CDC would welcome offers from alumni who could assist in this programme either from a personal or a company perspective.
We also offer short one hour taught sessions on topics such as CV writing, interview preparation, and application technique. We also run regular aptitude test sessions to enable students to experience this aspect of many employers’ selection process. These sessions are open to all students of all year groups.
