Work at Stirling

Situated in the beautiful Airthrey estate, Stirling has an excellent reputation for the quality of both its research and teaching. This is in no small measure due to the quality of our staff and we believe that it is this investment in our people that helps the University as a whole go from strength to strength. Our academic and support staff are part of a diverse and interesting community that numbers over 115 nationalities on campus.

Campus community

The campus nestles at the foot of the Ochil Hills in over 330 acres of landscaped grounds, with a loch, golf course, an Olympic sized swimming pool and an 18th century castle.  It really is a unique and beautiful working environment to be part of.

We recognise that attracting the highest calibre staff as about more than just job offers.  We offer a range of great staff benefits including generous annual leave and membership of the Universities Superannuation Scheme, with generous employer contributions.  Together with a comprehensive range of personal and professional development programmes that provide our employees with the skills to enhance their performance in the workplace and grow in their careers.  Additionally, staff can benefit from a reduced membership rate at the University’s excellent Sport Centre facilities and the option of childcare vouchers through a salary sacrifice scheme.
