Alison Green is a Senior Teaching Fellow, teaching law in the Faculty of Arts & Humanities. Alison also holds the position of Deputy Director of Learning & Teaching in the School and has been recognised as a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. She is a qualified solicitor in Scotland and worked for over 15 years in corporate law practice before joining the University in 2004. During her time in practice Alison was part of the management team of Pagan Osborne, a medium sized law firm in Scotland and was head of their corporate division.
Alongside her roles at University of Stirling, Alison is an active member of the Investigations Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Scotland who set regulations and carry out investigations of the professional behaviour of Chartered Accountants members worldwide. As an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers she also sits on the Quality and Standards Committee who monitor education in the financial sector provided through the Institute itself and as a validating body.
