Things to do on Campus
Although we have a tranquil setting, there is always plenty to do at the University. There are around 2,300 residential places on-campus, with most overlooking the loch with views towards the Wallace Monument, and everywhere is just a few minutes' walk away. Our centralised facilities encourage a strong community feel and provide much to occupy your time outside lectures, tutorials and lab work. Facilities at Stirling include:
- the University Library
- 24 hour computer lab access
- the Robbins Students' Centre and 'Studio' bar
- a shopping precinct, including a bank, bookshop, travel agent, pharmacy and supermarket
- extensive indoor and outdoor sports facilities
- a 50-metre swimming pool
- a nine-hole golf course and driving range
- the MacRobert Arts Centre, with theatre, cinema, café/bar and award-winning entertainment
- a publicly accessible Art Collection
- a wide range of excellent cafes and restaurants
